Hello Divergents,
It’s my birthday, and I wrote a poem. I’m so pleased to share it with you.
I awake today, my birthday, behind.
Two days worth of work the day before leading to a late bedtime, and because today is my birthday, a lay wake up time.
---
Behind?
How am I behind?
Can a flower be behind?
If I am the same is-ness of a flower, how can I be behind?
Lord knows this behind feeling is not from Them.
They say I am enough.
They say I am beautiful.
They say enjoy, delight, rest, be.
How beautiful it is in the being!
How much I miss by racing and being occupied by everything but myself.
---
You. Be you. Be you.
How can you be behind at being you, Dear?
The truth is you can't.
Happy Birthday, Dear One!
We made this miracle for you.
We made miraculous you, and you are worth celebrating.
Rest, Dear One, to make space for what is in our hands to give.
"Behind" is nothing to hold. What it points to is vapid.
And you are anything but vapid, Dear!
Don't settle for this fear that people would push on you.
Our love released you from the fear and from that shame.
Open, Dear One, to the beauty of today!
Celebrate and dance with the miracle of Us and Us in you and you in Us.
// Behind No More
Happy birthday to me!
Rooting for you!
